Co-generation Power generation system
ProPhase was hired to install a Co-generation system consisting of 2 x 340 kW MAN gas engines and 1 x 500 kW Cummins diesel engine at Twin Rinks to provide reliable and stable power to the facility, while reducing energy costs and minimizing emissions into the atmosphere. ProPhase and Burlington Hydro worked together to allow parallel connection to commission generators, eliminating the load bank.
Identifying specific baseline and peak power demands from the facility in order to properly size the co-generation system.
